As a home stager, I work with real estate agents to help clients prepare their homes for sale. The process of staging a home includes decluttering, rearranging furniture, and adding or removing décor items to make the space look as inviting as possible. We know this works, as it’s easier for potential buyers to visualise themselves living in the space. But what else do I tell them?
Here’s my insider info…
1. Your life is easier with me!
Home staging will make it easier for you, the real estate agent, to market and sell your listing. First up, the photos will be 100% more enticing and beautiful than what was there before. And once visiting a property, home buyers are more likely to make an offer on a home that shows well.
2. You don’t have to pay for it!
It’s your client who pays! As real estate agents, you can recommend my service to your clients as a faster way to sell their home for more money, but the client pays. We make sure to listen to their needs and incorporate any feedback they may have for us. We want it to be an as pleasurable experience as possible when working with The Finishing Touches.
3. Online beauty is crucial!
With a large proportion of home buyers searching online before calling a real estate agent, you’ll want to attract more leads with better photos. This way, you can show clients not only the beautifully staged property but also any others you may have on your books that tick their boxes. It’s a win-win for everyone.
How we work with real estate agents
Typically, we are involved right from the start of the sale process. This is especially true if there’s a specific style or input that’s required by the client. We can meet on-site with the owner and the agent at the same time to discuss the style and look required. I’m all about the attention to detail, from hooks to TV aerials. I’ll make sure all bases are covered, so everyone is happy with the result.
